Strandberg Introduces the Boden Essential Tremolo

Making its debut at Guitar Summit, the new model expands the popular Boden Essential line with Strandberg’s Arc TILT tremolo system. 

First launched in 2024, the Boden Essential was created to make the core Strandberg experience available in its most straightforward and accessible form. Since its introduction, it has become one of Strandberg’s most popular models, earning top reviews and finding its way into the hands of players across a wide range of genres. And one request has stood out above all others: a tremolo version. 

The new Boden Essential Tremolo takes everything that defines the original Essential and adds the Arc TILT tremolo. Designed from the ground up by Strandberg, Arc TILT combines expressive range with stability, precise response and an intuitive playing feel. 

The Boden Essential Tremolo launches in two finishes: the striking Whale Blue and an understated Dune. 

At a glance
The Boden Essential Tremolo features a solid Meranti body, roasted maple neck, rosewood fretboard and 24 stainless-steel frets. Its 25.5-inch scale and Strandberg humbuckers with five-way switching provide a versatile platform, while the new Arc TILT tremolo adds a new dimension of expression. Average weight is approximately 2.3 kg / 5 lbs. 

Essential pricing
Alongside the introduction of the Boden Essential Tremolo, the Boden Essential fixed bridge returns to USD 999, the price at which it launched in 2024. The new Boden Essential Tremolo is priced at USD 1,099.
